How to level up fast in Anime Defenders
It’s a grind, but there’s a way to speed up leveling in Anime Defenders without resorting to cheats and macros
Levelling up in Anime Defenders, at least at launch, wasn’t much of a concern. It didn’t change a whole lot. Now, though? You’ll want to grind to get free gems.
If you have a reason to level up fast in Anime Defenders, you could do with reading on. You’ll save a lot of time just by just knowing the best ways to get EXP in the game. What you do after that is up to you.
How to reach level 8 fast in Anime Defenders
You need to be level 8 in Anime Defenders to redeem codes. That limitation came in the game’s second week as a way to limit excessive account rerolls and the resulting code redeem spam.
To reach that point quickly, the best to level up fast in Anime Defenders is to focus on the Daily Quests below:
- Play for at least 60 minutes
- Summon 2 units
- Complete story mode missions
- Clear 15 waves with at least one other player
Completing those missions will allow you to redeem the Daily Quest Complete quest in the same window, which awards 500 XP. Clearing this at level 8 will boost you all the way to level 8.
Following this from a new account, you can reach level 8 in around an hour. Most of the quests will complete naturally as you play to clear the XP mission, so don’t worry about how you get there.

How to level up fast in Anime Defenders
Unless you’re willing to risk your account with macro recorders that can repeat a winning strategy while you’re asleep, the best way to level up fast in Anime Defenders is to play the toughest stage you can reliably clear.
You can speed things along further by enabling the Automatically Skip Waves option in the setting.
Find a stage you can comfortably complete with overlapping enemy waves and play it over and over. With that, you should be able to clear a 15-wave stage around every 5 minutes. This will see you level up from stage clears every two hours or so.
Pair it with the final Daily Quest each day to get around 3-4 levels for a while. At a point, the XP requirement will start to get a little overwhelming.
