Here’s how to quickly redeem codes in Special Anime Defense:
- Launch Anime Ascendants through Roblox.
- Approach the CODES NPC to the right where you spawn.
- Enter a working code.
- Hit Redeem.
If entered correctly, the UI will shake and a notice will appear letting you know which rewards you received.

The Special Anime Defense code system is set to change with the change to Anime Ascendants. We’ll update this guide when we’re able.

Is Anime Ascendants the same as Special Anime Defense?
Special Anime Defense was taken under a new team who made the announcement on October 8, 2024. With it, the game was renamed to Anime Ascendants.
Here’s what the team said on Discord, as well as what will (and won’t) change with the game’s re-release:
Hey Special Anime Defense players! I am sorry to say this, but – the previous developers lied many times, claiming they were working on the game when they were not. I’m happy to say this though: you’re all in much better hands. We’re excited to announce that the game is now called Anime Ascendants! A new team is here, and we’re committed to improving the game for you. We expect to finish working on this new version very soon, and while we’ll be upgrading it, don’t worry – you’ll keep all your units and data. Stay tuned for updates in the community room below. Thanks for your patience – let’s make this game amazing!

- Will I lose all my units and data??
- NO YOUR DATA AND UNITS AND GEMS AND EVERYTHING WILL BE SAVED, the game itself will just be alot better and will be under a new name check out our work in 🔨・rework-progress
- Why rebrand/redesign the game?
- There are a lot of data loss issues we need to completely fix, as well as many game design errors that resulted in a mass loss of player base. These will need to be addressed before we release any content. Once they are fixed we will add in the rest of the content.
- How long will this take?
- We don’t expect this to take long, and we will have a channel designated to updating you all on our work. Don’t worry, the game will be back up fast!
- What things are you guys planning on adding in the future?
- Trading, Console (Soon) , 2x Speed (Soon) , Mounts , A lot more codes with a better code system, Etc.
- Will there be update 1?
- Yes update 1 will be included in this re-release.
- Can I be an active tester in the rework?
- Yea to actively test the rework just be a part of our new patreon that will be funding a lot of this reworked stuff – all NEW testers will receive a fun utility based unit 🎉 on rerelease.
