Freshly announced as a whole new title, All Star Tower Defense X codes are sure to get you flying out of the gate on launch day.
ASTD X, as it’s likely to be abbreviated, is the sequel to All Star Tower Defense on Roblox. It was teased months in advance, with reveal news pushed back so much that the team gave away weekly rewards for close to half a year.

How do I redeem codes in All Star Tower Defense?
With nothing but a map preview and a logo, we can’t possibly know how to go about claiming ASTD X codes just yet.
We can, however, take a guess, using the old game and a bunch of other 2024 Roblox TD titles as a basis.
To redeem ASTDX codes, you may have to do one of the following:
- Type “/code” followed by a space and a working ASTD X code into the chat and sending the message.
- Clicking a Code button on the UI–which can look like the old Twitter logo, a rectangle with letters in it, or a present.
- Clicking a button in the universal Roblox UI in the top-left or top-right to bring up a code redeem screen.
- Finding a dedicated Codes NPC in the lobby.
- Opening the game settings menu (not the Roblox one) and looking for a code redeem box somewhere on it.
- Opening the shop menu and searching for a code redeem box
As you can see, there are far too many traditional code redeem methods to reliably guess which one ASTDX will employ.
What is All Star Tower Defense X?
All Star Tower Defense X is a sequel to All Star Tower Defense. Rather than an update, it’s a whole new title.
Will ASTD progress carry over to ASTDX?
Once the trailer dropped, the team took to Twitter to lightly cover some expected questions regarding save transfers between ASTD and ASTDX.
One developer stated that “some of ur character information will transfer” with another following up soon after by saying “you will be rewarded on your progress from the original game.”
As such, it sounds as if not every unit from the old game will make it into the new one. And if “character” refers to your player character and not the units you’ve collected, you could very well start with nothing more than a title or player level that reflects the progress you put into the old game.
Whether you’ll get free gems based on your ASTD progress is anyone’s guess at the moment.
When is the ASTDX release date?
The debut teaser trailer for All Star Tower Defense X released on November 26 simply listed a Winter release date for the game. That suggests it should arrive before April 2025.
A gameplay trailer has been promised to drop “in a few days.”
