AEW Fight Forever: How to unlock every hidden wrestler

AEW Fight Forever’s hidden wrestlers aren’t clearly marked in the game, so it may not be obvious what you need to do to unlock them.

Although the game’s roster is decent enough as it is, there are some locked wrestlers who aren’t available from the start of the game.

Each of these wrestlers requires a different method to unlock them, and the game doesn’t tell you what you have to do to get most of them.

This guide, then, will tell you how to unlock every hidden wrestler in AEW: Fight Forever.

AEW Fight Forever: How to unlock every wrestler

At the time of writing, there are five known hidden wrestlers in AEW: Fight Forever.

Here’s how to unlock each of them.

How to unlock Aubrey Edwards

Aubrey Edwards is one of the easier wrestlers (well, referees) to unlock.

She’s already in the game’s shop when you first start it up, so head to the Shop tab on the main menu, then scroll over to the More Items option.

You’ll find Aubrey Edwards there, where she can be unlocked for 20,000 cash.

How to unlock Brodie Lee

Brodie Lee is unlocked in the Road to Elite mode, after you encounter him as part of the Dark Order storyline (Block 2B).

There are different ways to unlock this storyline, requiring different win/loss combinations for the battle royale during Block 0, and the matches that take place in Block 1.

If you get to a point where John Silver asks you to join the Dark Order, you’re on the right storyline.

Once you reach this plot, play through it, winning all the matches. Eventually you’ll face off against Brodie Lee for the TNT title.

Once you beat Brodie Lee, he’ll become available in the Shop tab on the main menu, where you’ll be able to buy him for 30,000 cash.

How to unlock Cody Rhodes

Much like Aubrey Edwards, Cody Rhodes is easy enough to unlock because you don’t really have to do much.

He’s already in the game’s shop at launch, so just head to the Shop tab on the main menu, then scroll over to the More Items option.

You’ll find Cody Rhodes there, where he can be unlocked for 10,000 cash.

How to unlock Owen Hart

The late Owen Hart requires the most work to unlock – it’s not particularly difficult, but it is time-consuming.

To unlock Owen Hart, you have to play 100 exhibition matches. Any match type counts, as long as it’s chosen from the Exhibition tab in the main menu.

Once you’ve played 100 exhibition matches, Owen Hart will be added to the Shop tab, where he can be bought for 50,000 cash.

How to unlock Paul Wight

Formerly known as The Big Show in WWE and The Giant in WCW, Paul Wight is also a hidden character in AEW: Fight Forever, and he’s easily the hardest to unlock.

Like Brodie Lee, he can be unlocked through the Road to Elite mode, but the way to unlock him is quite time-consuming and has a tricky final step.

Essentially, you have to play through Road to Elite and lose every single fight until you reach the fourth block, which should give you the storyline called Who’s Ribbing Me? (block 4C).

Keep losing matches in this final block and you’ll eventually learn that Paul Wight is the one who’s been ‘ribbing’ you.

You then have to fight and defeat him in a match with an extremely strict 3-minute time limit. If you can manage this extremely tough task, you’ll find Paul Wight in the shop for 30,000 cash.
