Here are the first images of GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition showing the difference between the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game.
The images were captured on a PlayStation 4 and a Nintendo Switch OLED model.
After playing the opening of each game, it’s clear that the Nintendo Switch version is struggling with the remasters. Poor frame rate and lack of image clarity hamper the games. San Andreas specifically has real trouble keeping a steady frame rate during the opening missions, with any type of driving being the biggest culprit.
On the other hand, the PS4 versions are extremely strong. Solid framerates and modern lighting make even the more dated elements of the package look far more impressive.
