Dragon’s Dogma 2 Review Roundtable: ‘This will take some beating for Game of the Year’
This is a blog post, where VGC writers post irreverent and (occasionally) entertaining coverage of video game culture.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 reviews have been published ahead of the game’s release on March 22.

Before the reviews went live, VGC’s Jordan Middler sat down with Alex Donaldson of VG247 and Jade King of TheGamer to discuss their views on the game.

In the video, which you can view below or on our YouTube channel, numerous topics were discussed, including the game’s story, its side quests, and what players can expect from the massive RPG.

This review discussion contains no spoilers, aside from a general reference to the solution to one quest. This is discussed in vague terms, however.

The audio version of this discussion is also available on the VGC: The Video Game Podcast feed, which you can access wherever you get your podcasts.

VGC’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 review called it “one of the best RPGs of the last decade”.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is so dense that you can literally get to the end of the game, fulfil the majority of the main quest objectives, and then realise there’s a whole faction, town, or multi-part mission you’ve missed,” we wrote. “Dragon’s Dogma 2 is begging you to explore.”
